The items here are worn regularly by me or the people I have given them too.

Wonders in and on the Wheat – My first attempt at sewing, as I wasn’t a fan of the pocket on the shirt. The wheat is sewn using a stitch I came up with (though I’m sure I’m not the first to do it) and the tutorial for it is posted under that section. The creature could be either a symbiotic creature with the wheat or just another wheat-eater, depending on how you feel about agriculture pests. I like to think of it as some kind of fabled worm that is more knowledgable. – Completed January 29th, 2026

Circular Aviary – This shirt started with the multicolored chain stitches on the collar because I wanted to practice technique. Eventually, it evolved into my longest project to date, as the circular bird is surrounded by close to one hundred stitches to from the perfect box, or, in this case, world. I imagine this piece as a bird kept in a box so small that it curves inward on itself, and, though it can see the world outside, has no way to reach it lest the chains come grabbing. – Completed March 30th, 2026.

Drift – A nautilus embroidered over the logo of the very last new piece of clothing I have ever bought. I have always been inspired by the nautilus, so I chose to change up the colors and anatomy a bit to kickoff my full journey into sustainability. The colors contrast with the red sleeves because my work has drifted from the exploitative nature of fast fashion brands.
